London, United Kingdom, September 2025 – WPP Media has announced the appointment of Amanda Ellis Field as Executive Director – People Operations. In this pivotal role, Amanda will oversee all people operational functions including onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, Workday, payroll, and people data management. She will also lead the evolution of WPP Media’s people operations strategy with a strong emphasis on digital transformation, AI integration, and capability building, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Amanda joins WPP Media after an impactful tenure of nearly seven years at Tate & Lyle, where she most recently served as Director, People Services (HR Operations). In this role, she focused on maximizing the value of HR Shared Services, managing Workday platforms, and driving service excellence and HR transformation initiatives globally. Earlier at Tate & Lyle, she was Global HR Shared Service Lead, and before that, she worked as HR Project Manager and HR Shared Service Implementation Lead, where she spearheaded GDPR readiness projects and designed a regional shared service model.
Prior to Tate & Lyle, Amanda briefly served as Senior HR Business Partner at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, leading organizational development and people strategy initiatives. She also held the role of Head of HR at UK Payments Administration Ltd., where she embedded HR operational models and led transformation projects to align HR efficiency with business goals.
Amanda’s longest corporate tenure was with Tullow Oil, where she worked for nearly nine years in multiple capacities, including HR Business Partner and HR Shared Services Manager, delivering efficiency in HR processes across Europe and Africa. Earlier in her career, she contributed as HR Adviser at Threefold Project Management, where she supported performance management in a growing organization.
