New Mexico, United States – November 2024 – Amanda Little has been appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at HME Specialists. With her wealth of experience in human resources, Amanda is set to contribute significantly to the company as it continues to support communities throughout New Mexico and West Texas.
Prior to joining HME Specialists, Amanda held the role of Director of Human Capital at Optum for over six years. Her tenure there was marked by substantial HR experience within the healthcare sector in New Mexico, giving her a solid background to transition into her new role.
Before Optum, Amanda served as a Human Resources Consultant at Valliant Consulting Group for nearly three years, where she provided consulting support within the Albuquerque area. She also spent five years as Human Resource Director at AMERIND, gaining valuable experience in HR management and consulting.
Earlier in her career, Amanda held the role of Executive Team Leader of Human Resources at Target for over six years, building her early HR expertise and contributing to team management and support.
