Celebration, Florida, United States, January 2026 — Amanda Maggard has been appointed as Chief People Officer for the Multi-State Division at AdventHealth, following the formal announcement by Doug Harcombe, CEO, AdventHealth Central Florida – South Market. In her new role, Maggard will lead workforce strategy, leadership development, culture, talent systems and organizational effectiveness across AdventHealth’s expanding multi-state footprint, supporting the organization’s mission of delivering whole-person care at national scale.
Over the last nearly two decades with AdventHealth, Maggard has built one of the most respected operational and people-centric leadership journeys in the U.S. healthcare system. Prior to her appointment as Chief People Officer, she served as President & CEO of AdventHealth Celebration, where she led clinical, operational, people and growth strategy for one of the system’s most prominent campuses while building high-performing, patient-centric care teams.
Earlier, she served as President & CEO of AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City, guiding both hospitals through sustained operational performance, clinical growth and community expansion initiatives, while strengthening leadership pipelines and workforce capability.
She previously held senior executive roles as Vice President & Administrator at AdventHealth Winter Garden and Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth Winter Park, where she drove service line expansion, operational excellence, talent deployment and culture alignment across high-growth markets.
In her earlier leadership years, Maggard served as Director of Operations at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, following formative HR and leadership development roles including Training Manager & Consultant at The Powell Group LLC, Executive Recruiter, and Corporate Trainer at AdventHealth, building a deep foundation in workforce development, leadership capability and organizational transformation.
Maggard holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
