London, United Kingdom, December 2025 – Amanda Rajkumar has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH), bringing with her over two decades of global leadership experience in human resources, organizational culture, and governance. Her appointment marks a significant step in GOSH’s mission to advance world-class pediatric care by integrating top-tier leadership and workforce strategies.
Amanda will contribute her deep expertise in shaping inclusive workplace cultures and empowering leadership teams to the Trust’s board. Her passion for creating environments where people feel valued aligns strongly with GOSH’s ethos of delivering exceptional care to children and young people.
Prior to this appointment, Amanda Rajkumar served as Executive Board Member, Global Human Resources, People and Culture at adidas in Germany. During her three-year tenure, she led all people-related initiatives for over 60,000 employees globally and acted as Labour Director, managing complex relationships with trade unions and social bodies. She played a pivotal role in enhancing company culture, managing transformation, and driving employee engagement across multiple geographies and functions.
Before adidas, she spent more than a decade at BNP Paribas, holding several HR leadership roles including Head of HR for BNP Paribas USA and CIB Americas, and Global Head of Human Resources for Global Markets and Financial Institutions Coverage. Her global assignments across New York and London included strategic leadership on talent development, diversity, and organizational transformation.
Earlier, Amanda held senior leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, where she served for over seven years as Vice President, and at The Rose Partnership, where she led talent acquisition as a Director. Her early career in executive search and HR built the foundation for her comprehensive understanding of leadership development and governance.
In parallel with her corporate roles, Amanda is a Contributing Author at Raconteur, writing insightful pieces on leadership, workplace positivity, and reflective professional growth in her popular series Memoirs of an out-of-office CHRO. She continues to be an influential voice advocating for inclusive leadership and balanced workplaces.
