Zurich, Switzerland, January 2026 — On has appointed Frank Sluis as its new Chief Financial Officer, strengthening the company’s executive leadership as it continues to scale its global premium performance brand across footwear, apparel, and accessories.
In his new role, Frank Sluis will oversee On’s global finance organization, supporting long-term value creation, disciplined growth, and operational excellence. He will partner closely with the executive leadership team to guide financial strategy, governance, and transformation as the company advances its innovation-led and impact-driven growth ambitions.
Prior to joining On, Frank Sluis served as Chief Financial Officer for Europe & Indonesia at Ahold Delhaize, where he led finance across a portfolio of 13 retail companies spanning eight countries, supporting net sales of approximately €40 billion and a workforce of around 180,000 associates. In this role, he played a central part in driving financial performance, strategic oversight, and regional transformation initiatives.
Earlier, he was Group CFO at Hoogwegt Group, the world’s largest independent dairy supplier, where he was responsible for Finance, IT, and Legal. During his tenure, he led the refinancing of the business and supported the establishment of a joint venture with a Danish partner to enter plant-based protein manufacturing, strengthening the company’s long-term strategic positioning.
Frank also held senior finance leadership roles at Reckitt, including SVP Finance, North America, where he led major transformation initiatives such as the carve-out of the Health business, the stand-up of an independent Hygiene company, and SAP implementation. His career further includes extensive leadership experience at Unilever, where he held multiple senior finance roles across Europe, Russia, and the Benelux region, and served as Chief Financial Officer at OJSC Concern “Kalina” following its acquisition by Unilever, leading complex integration and value creation initiatives.
