Santa Clara, California, United States, April 2025 – Amanda Wade has stepped into the role of Global Head of Human Resources, MedTech at Johnson & Johnson, bringing more than two decades of experience in human capital leadership across innovation, R&D, and strategic talent initiatives. In her new role, Amanda will spearhead HR strategy for the MedTech division, aligning workforce capabilities with the company’s mission to shape the future of healthcare through cutting-edge medical technologies.
Amanda’s journey with Johnson & Johnson has been marked by several high-impact leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Human Resources, MedTech Surgery, where she supported the division through a critical period of innovation and transformation. Before that, she held the position of Global Head of HR, R&D and Innovation for Johnson & Johnson MedTech, leading people strategies across a globally dispersed research and innovation workforce.
Earlier in her career at Johnson & Johnson, Amanda served as Senior Director, Human Resources for ETHICON, and as Director, Talent Management for the Medical Devices & Diagnostics division. She also held leadership roles in franchise strategy, innovation, and general HR across a span of over a decade, contributing to the company’s continued growth and global talent excellence.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Amanda worked with 3M Pharmaceuticals as a Training Associate, building her early career foundation in learning and development. She holds a Master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources (MLRHR) from Michigan State University.
