Los Angeles, California, United States, November 2025 — Amber Coffman Crosby has been appointed as Senior Director, Talent at Best Buddies International, the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering inclusion and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In her new role, Amber will lead the organization’s talent strategy, celebrity engagement, and global ambassador initiatives, working to amplify the message of inclusion through influential voices and partnerships that celebrate ability, belonging, and friendship.
Amber has been a part of Best Buddies International for nearly 19 years, contributing across several pivotal leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Best Buddies Jobs, where she worked with companies nationwide to create diverse and inclusive workplaces that offer sustainable employment opportunities for individuals with IDD. Her work was instrumental in driving Best Buddies’ mission to empower people with disabilities through meaningful, competitive employment.
Previously, as Development Director and Development Manager, Amber played a central role in expanding Best Buddies’ outreach and impact throughout California, leading fundraising and partnership initiatives that strengthened the organization’s local and national programs. Earlier in her journey with Best Buddies, she served as Jobs Program Supervisor, pioneering innovative job placement models and collaborating with employers to open doors to non-traditional industries — a milestone that reshaped inclusion in workplace culture.
Before her tenure at Best Buddies, Amber founded and served as Executive Director of Happy Helpers for the Homeless, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through compassion-driven volunteer work and social support initiatives. This experience laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to human empowerment, empathy, and community leadership.
