Before joining Sonatus, Amina Gass served as Senior Manager, People Operations at Big Health, where she played a pivotal role in scaling HR operations for a fast-growing digital health company. She led company-wide workforce restructuring initiatives with transparency and empathy, enhanced compensation and benefits frameworks that boosted employee satisfaction by 25%, and implemented new HR systems that improved efficiency and engagement across teams.
Prior to Big Health, Amina spent over three years at Netlify, where she progressed through multiple roles including Manager, People Operations and Senior People Operations Manager. She established Netlify’s global HR infrastructure, leading initiatives in performance management, compliance, onboarding, and remote-work strategy. Her leadership helped create a data-driven, distributed-first people culture, ensuring organizational alignment and operational consistency worldwide.
Earlier, Amina managed people operations at Go Nimbly, Apollo.io, and BrightFunnel by Terminus, where she built and optimized HR programs covering onboarding, performance evaluation, and employee engagement. At Braintree, she held an early-career role in operations that helped her develop foundational expertise in organizational systems and workforce administration.
