Amit brings with him over 18 years of diverse experience across leading organizations including HyFun Foods, Innoterra, Infosys, EY, and ITC Limited, where he has played pivotal roles in driving financial transformation, governance, and strategic growth.
In his new role, Amit will oversee financial strategy, planning, and risk management at Arvind SmartSpaces, ensuring continued focus on profitability, compliance, and sustainable expansion. His extensive background in global finance operations, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions will further strengthen the company’s financial architecture and growth roadmap.
Prior to joining Arvind SmartSpaces, Amit served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer – Agri at HyFun Foods, where he led financial and business operations for the agri vertical. He also played a key role at Innoterra, managing finance functions across 28 legal entities in nine countries, steering the company’s transformation into a global agritech platform, and contributing to the successful raising of over $150 million in funding.
During his tenure at Infosys, Amit was instrumental in executing a $2 billion share buyback and managing over $500 million in M&A transactions, while supporting corporate strategy, capital allocation, and financial modeling. His early experiences at EY, ITC Limited, and A.P. Badhani & Co. provided a strong foundation in auditing, internal controls, and financial governance—skills that have consistently defined his approach to building robust financial systems.
With deep expertise in controllership, strategic finance, business partnering, and stakeholder management, Amit’s appointment marks an important step in Arvind SmartSpaces’ journey to strengthen its financial capabilities and deliver long-term value creation.
