Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2025 — Amit Chand has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of REA India, the parent company of Housing.com and PropTiger.com. With over 20 years of experience in financial strategy, capital management, and growth leadership, Chand will oversee the company’s finance, risk assurance, legal and compliance, and procurement functions.
Before joining REA India, he was the CFO at TCNS Clothing Company Ltd, where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth and led the company through its acquisition by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. He also served as CFO at TravelTriangle, a technology-driven startup backed by Elevation Capital, and held leadership roles across diverse domains including fashion, retail, and e-commerce.
At REA India, Chand will focus on strengthening financial operations, enhancing capital efficiency, and aligning finance with the company’s strategic growth in India’s digital real estate space. He expressed enthusiasm for the role, noting his commitment to supporting the transformation of property transactions through Housing.com and PropTiger.com.
Earlier in his career, he held various senior roles in business development and strategy at Aditya Birla Group, including the successful launch of Peter England People and The Collective. As the founder-CEO of Brandscape Fashion, he built a kidswear brand from the ground up, scaling it rapidly before a successful exit.
Chand holds extensive experience in scaling consumer businesses, managing investor relations, and driving digital transformation, making him a valuable asset to REA India’s leadership team. His appointment comes at a time when the company is focused on innovation, customer-centricity, and creating seamless experiences in the property ecosystem.
