Amit Khandelwal joins UiPath as RVP and Managing Director, South East Asia

Singapore, July 2025 — UiPath has announced the appointment of Amit Khandelwal as Regional Vice President (RVP) and Managing Director for South East Asia, as the company accelerates its mission to transform business operations through automation and AI-led innovation.

With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in enterprise software, services, and technology, Amit brings a wealth of strategic, operational, and customer-centric experience to the role. Prior to joining UiPath, he served as Chief Revenue Officer, President, and Board Member at Diligent Global, where he led the company’s end-to-end revenue strategy and expansion across North America, Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. His leadership helped scale the SAP, AI, and managed services portfolios while launching high-impact solutions such as User Access Shield, Smart Code Migration, and FlightOrder.

Before that, Amit had a prolific 18-year career at SAP, holding leadership roles across the services and cloud business. As Head of Cloud Success Services for South East Asia, he was responsible for driving customer lifetime value through end-to-end engagement, leading to exceptional outcomes in customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and retention. He previously served as Vice President, Head of Services for South East Asia and Vice President, Head of Digital Business Services, among other strategic roles across India and Singapore.

Earlier in his career, Amit worked with HP and Compaq Computer Corporation, where he managed enterprise accounts and drove B2B transformation in the technology domain. He also started his professional journey at Happi Communications Pvt Ltd, focusing on executive sales and corporate relations.

Amit holds an MBA in Systems from Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management, Pune, and a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune. He recently completed an executive program in Health and Wellness from Harvard Medical School.

At UiPath, Amit will lead strategic growth initiatives, forge deep partnerships, and advance the company’s automation-first vision across Southeast Asia.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
