Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, March 2026 – Alexis Johnston has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at LIFE Senior Services, bringing extensive experience in leading people strategy, HR operations, and organizational culture transformation across multi-site organizations.
In her new role, Alexis will lead the organization’s HR function, focusing on strengthening workforce strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and building a culture that supports LIFE Senior Services’ mission of enabling older adults to live independently and meaningfully.
Prior to this appointment, Alexis served as Director of People and Culture at Senior Star for approximately five years, where she led enterprise-wide HR strategy across a multi-state senior living organization. She oversaw all core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, leadership development, and training. She played a key role in aligning workforce strategies with business goals, driving employee engagement, and establishing scalable HR systems to support sustainable growth.
Earlier, she worked with the Tulsa Health Department as a Human Resources Generalist, where she contributed to HR operations, recruitment processes, and employee relations within a public sector environment.
Alexis began her career with AMC Theatres, where she spent nearly a decade as General Manager – HR Operations, serving as a senior people and operations leader. In this role, she managed end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll compliance, performance management, and employee engagement for large, high-volume teams, while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
