Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, July 2026 — Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has appointed Bhavin Vahia as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, he will lead the company’s people and culture strategy, driving workforce transformation, leadership development, organizational capability, talent management, and HR excellence as TARIL continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers.
Bhavin brings over two decades of experience in human resources leadership across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, power, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. Throughout his career, he has led strategic HR transformation initiatives focused on organizational development, workforce planning, culture transformation, leadership capability, performance management, employee engagement, digital HR, and talent development.
Prior to joining TARIL, Bhavin spent more than nine years with Zydus Group, progressing through multiple leadership positions including Deputy General Manager – Human Resource, General Manager – Human Resource, and most recently Senior General Manager – Human Resource. During his tenure, he led strategic HR initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations, driving workforce transformation, capability building, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and digitalization of HR processes.
Earlier, he spent over seven years with Intas Pharmaceuticals, where he advanced through successive leadership roles including Manager – HR, Senior Manager – HR, Assistant General Manager – HR, and Deputy General Manager – HR. He played a key role in strengthening HR operations, talent management, organizational capability, and people practices across the business.
Before Intas Pharmaceuticals, Bhavin served as Deputy Manager – HR at CLP India Private Limited, where he supported strategic HR initiatives for the power sector.
Earlier in his career, he worked as Senior Executive – HR at Zydus Group, gaining valuable experience in manufacturing HR operations and employee relations.
His professional journey also includes roles as Executive – HR at Apollo Hospitals and JMC Projects (India) Ltd., where he built a strong foundation in core human resource management, recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational support.
Bhavin holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Senior Leadership from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master of Human Resource Management from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Bhavin will lead TARIL’s enterprise-wide people strategy, helping build a resilient, high-performing, and future-ready workforce aligned with the company’s ambitious growth and global expansion plans.
