Pune, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Amit Virwal has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President and India Operations Head at MRO Corp, a company known for streamlining clinical data exchange to improve patient and financial outcomes across healthcare systems. In his new role, Amit will lead the India-based delivery teams, oversee operational efficiency, and ensure strategic alignment between global business goals and regional execution.
Before joining MRO, Amit held the position of Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences KPO at Atos, where he led service delivery and operational transformation across a large healthcare portfolio. His focus was on digital innovation, quality enhancement, and driving scalable business models in the healthcare knowledge process outsourcing domain.
Previously, he spent over eight years at MDI NetworX, where he progressed through roles including Vice President Operations, Associate Vice President, Director of Operations, and Associate Director, playing a critical role in business process transitions, client relationship management, and revenue cycle operations.
Earlier in his career, Amit worked at Cognizant as Manager – Operations, where he was responsible for process delivery, quality improvement, and managing large teams in healthcare operations. He also held operational leadership roles at Ebix, UnitedHealth Group, and Hewitt Associates, building a strong foundation in U.S. healthcare processes.
