Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 – IndusInd Bank has announced the appointment of Amitabh Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective November 10. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Amitabh brings an exceptional breadth of HR leadership experience from leading Indian and global organizations across the financial services and technology sectors. His appointment comes as part of IndusInd Bank’s broader leadership expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its human capital strategy and driving organizational agility in the next phase of growth.
In his new role, Amitabh will spearhead HR strategy and transformation initiatives, with a focus on nurturing a performance-driven culture, building leadership capability, and shaping a future-ready workforce aligned with the bank’s growth ambitions.
Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, Amitabh Singh served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at ICICI Home Finance Company Limited, where he led enterprise-wide people initiatives covering talent management, organizational development, and culture transformation. His contributions were instrumental in driving engagement and performance alignment across business functions.
Before that, Amitabh held senior leadership positions at ICICI Bank for over a decade as Head – Business HR, and earlier at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, where he shaped HR policies, talent programs, and business-aligned workforce planning frameworks. His deep association with the ICICI Group enriched his expertise in driving strategic HR interventions across diverse financial services ecosystems.
Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience across multiple industries through roles at Larsen & Toubro, Atos, Tata Interactive Systems, and Mphasis, where he played a key role in talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational capability building.
Amitabh Singh holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Honors) from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. His educational foundation in people management and analytical thinking has been pivotal in shaping his human-centric leadership approach.
