New York, United States, February 2026 – Mastercard has welcomed back Amrita Dokania as Director – Account Management within its Digital & Fintech Partnerships team, marking a significant return to the global payments leader.
In her new role based in New York, Amrita will drive strategic account management across digital and fintech partnerships, strengthening Mastercard’s ecosystem engagement in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.
Amrita previously spent two years at Mastercard as Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Manager – Digital Payments & Fintech, where she managed a portfolio of fintech and digital clients and secured high-impact agreements, including a 150MM transaction deal for a payment gateway. She spearheaded tokenization and SMB credit initiatives while leading C-suite negotiations to expand merchant services and digital payment solutions.
Before Mastercard, Amrita built strong commercial and marketing expertise at Flipkart, where she held multiple leadership roles across performance marketing and business development, driving full-funnel growth strategies and delivering measurable improvements in cost efficiency, traffic, and revenue. Earlier, she gained cross-functional exposure at Monsanto Company, where she led product marketing initiatives and strengthened customer engagement strategies.
An MBA graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Amrita brings a powerful blend of fintech partnership experience, digital growth strategy, and commercial leadership. Her return to Mastercard reinforces the company’s continued focus on innovation-driven collaboration across digital payments and fintech ecosystems.
