Houston, Texas, April 2024 — LyondellBasell, a global leader in the chemical industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Ackerman Wisniewski as the new Director of HR Reporting & People Analytics.
Amy brings a wealth of experience, with over 18 years dedicated to human resources and project management within the energy sector. Her new role will focus on leveraging data to enhance human resource strategies and improve organizational effectiveness across LyondellBasell’s operations. This position marks a pivotal step in her career as she brings her extensive background in HR analytics and project management to one of the chemical industry’s frontrunners.
Previously, Wisniewski served as a Project Manager at BP, where she spent seven years managing complex HR initiatives, including the annual pay and performance processes and strategic HR planning. Her tenure at BP was marked by significant achievements in simplifying and streamlining HR functions that supported business objectives amid volatile market conditions.
Before her long stint at BP, Amy was a Senior Associate at Mercer from 1999 to 2005, where she managed pension and health and welfare actuarial consulting teams. She played a critical role in the financial management and restructuring of pension schemes for large clients, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with business goals.
Amy’s journey also includes valuable experiences at Ernst & Young, where she began her career in actuarial science, contributing to retirement planning and financial reporting for clients in the manufacturing and public education sectors.
