In this role, she will oversee financial strategy, compliance, and fiscal management, ensuring the organization continues to effectively support community-driven initiatives.
With extensive experience in financial leadership, Amy Jones brings expertise in nonprofit financial management, tax compliance, and accounting. Before joining United Way of Southwestern Indiana, she was Fiduciary Tax Manager at First Merchants Corporation, where she managed fiduciary tax return preparation, compliance, and process improvements. Prior to that, she served as Associate Wealth Manager, providing financial oversight and relationship management for clients.
Earlier in her career, Amy held key financial roles at B.B. Byers, CPA, Swan Surfaces, LLC, and OneMain Financial, where she specialized in financial reporting, auditing, tax preparation, and accounting operations. Her experience also includes roles at Advanced Disposal Services, Tower Innovations, and regional financial institutions, where she was responsible for financial analysis, payroll management, and compliance oversight.
Amy’s core competencies include financial oversight, tax compliance, fiduciary services, and nonprofit financial management, making her a strong asset to United Way of Southwestern Indiana’s leadership team.
