Greater Delhi Area, India, February 2025 – Anand Amrit Raj has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV). In his new role, he will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent development, workforce optimization, and cultural transformation to support OPG Mobility’s ambitious growth in the electric vehicle (EV), EV chargers, and energy storage solutions (ESS) sectors.
Prior to joining OPG Mobility, Anand Amrit Raj was Senior Vice President – Human Resources & Admin (Group CHRO) at Best Group, where he played a crucial role in shaping HR policies and driving people-centric initiatives. Earlier, he served as VP – Human Resources & Admin (Group HR Head) at Okaya Power Group for five years, overseeing strategic HR transformation across multiple business verticals.
Before his tenure at Okaya Power Group, Anand was a Consulting Partner – HR Advisory at Nabling Consulting Pvt Ltd, where he provided HR advisory services to leading organizations including Hero Ecotech, NIVIA, Bony Polymers, Metalman, and VRS Foods. He also served as Head – Corporate Human Resources at Livguard (SAR Group), where he drove organization-wide HR initiatives, expanded manpower strength, and spearheaded leadership development programs.
Anand’s HR leadership experience includes key roles at Escorts Kubota Limited as Head HR – Engineering Division, where he implemented strategic HR practices, change management initiatives, and talent acquisition strategies. Additionally, he held HR consulting positions at Wipro Consulting Services, where he managed projects for Bharti Airtel, Uninor India, ACME Telepower, and Mylan Inc.
Anand Amrit Raj holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Jamia Millia Islamia and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Jamia Millia Islamia. He brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across industries, specializing in organization development, cultural transformation, HR process automation, leadership development, and employee engagement.
