Anant Goenka Takes Over as President of FICCI for 2025–26

TweetPostShareWhatsapp

New Delhi, India, December 2025 — The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has announced the appointment of Anant Goenka as its President for 2025–26, following its 98th Annual General Meeting. As Vice Chairman of RPG Group and Zensar Technologies, Goenka brings with him a distinguished career spanning multiple sectors including automotive, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and specialty manufacturing. His appointment marks a pivotal moment in FICCI’s continued efforts to strengthen India’s economic and industrial growth agenda.

Anant Goenka’s association with FICCI has been longstanding — having earlier served as Vice President of the chamber and as Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA India). His leadership experience across major industry platforms underscores his commitment to driving public-private collaboration and policy advocacy for sustainable and inclusive growth.

At CEAT Limited, where he served as Managing Director for over a decade before becoming Vice Chairman, Goenka spearheaded one of the most remarkable transformation journeys in Indian manufacturing. Under his stewardship, CEAT achieved a 25-fold increase in market capitalisation, earned the World Economic Forum’s Lighthouse Factory designation, and became one of the few Indian companies to win the Deming Grand Prize—a testament to operational excellence and innovation-led growth.

Before his leadership roles at CEAT and RPG Group, Goenka gained valuable experience at Unilever and KEC International Ltd., where he honed his expertise in supply chain management, marketing, and strategic operations. An alumnus of The Wharton School and Kellogg School of Management, he has been recognized with several prestigious honours, including the Kabiller Science of Empathy Prize, Forbes’ Next Generation Business Leader award, and ET–Spencer Stuart’s 40 Under 40 recognition.

As President of FICCI, Anant Goenka will play a crucial role in steering the chamber’s agenda amid a dynamic global business environment — driving collaboration between industry, policymakers, and international stakeholders to advance India’s competitiveness and innovation-led growth.

About FICCI

As a non-government, not-for-profit organization, FICCI serves as a platform for policy dialogue, networking, and industry collaboration, drawing an indirect membership of over 2,50,000 companies. It continues to play a vital role in shaping India’s economic narrative and fostering international business partnerships.
