Over the past 19 years at Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited, Mahesh has played a pivotal role in building the Decorative Paint Division into a strong nationwide business. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its presence across India, enhanced its digital ecosystem, and continuously driven product innovation to strengthen brand equity and competitive positioning.

During his tenure, Nippon Paint India has successfully diversified beyond decorative coatings into adjacent categories such as waterproofing, construction chemicals, and sustainable coating technologies. Prior to joining Nippon Paint, Mahesh spent over 15 years with Berger Paints India Ltd, where he led key business operations and developed deep market insights that would later shape his leadership success. His extensive experience across strategy, sales, and operations continues to drive impactful growth within the coatings ecosystem.

In his expanded role, Mahesh will continue to steer strategic initiatives focused on organizational growth, operational excellence, and long-term innovation, further cementing Nippon Paint’s position as a leader in the Indian and Asia Pacific paint industries.
