This strategic appointment strengthens EMA Partners’ leadership presence in the Asia Pacific region, reinforcing its commitment to delivering top-tier talent and advisory solutions to clients across industries.
With over 20 years of experience in organizational consulting, executive search, and corporate leadership, Melvin has built a distinguished career advising boards and senior executives on leadership transformation, succession planning, and strategic talent acquisition. His expertise spans the industrial, semiconductor, and technology sectors, with a functional focus on manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and engineering leadership.
Before joining EMA Partners, Melvin served as Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry, where he partnered with global and regional organizations on leadership appointments, talent strategy, and organizational performance across Asia Pacific. During his tenure, he also played a key role in advising clients on aligning structure, culture, and talent to business strategy.
Previously, he was with Heidrick & Struggles as Principal – Southeast Asia, where he was part of the firm’s Global Industrial, Semiconductor & Systems, and Supply Chain & Operations practices, advising clients on executive search and organizational transformation. Earlier in his career, Melvin held leadership roles at DHR Global, where he led senior-level search assignments across industrial, technology, and professional services sectors, and worked in corporate strategy and M&A at Johnson Controls across the U.S. and Asia.
With his strong industry insight, client-focused approach, and global perspective, Melvin will lead EMA Partners Singapore in driving business growth, enhancing client partnerships, and expanding the firm’s advisory footprint across Southeast Asia.
