United Kingdom, August 2026 — Unisys has appointed David Bundy as Chief People Officer (CPO), elevating the seasoned HR executive after more than seven years with the global technology solutions company. In his expanded leadership role, Bundy will be responsible for building and delivering the company’s people strategy for approximately 15,000 associates globally, with a particular focus on workforce development, AI fluency and preparing talent for evolving business and client needs.
Bundy moves into the CPO role after serving as Global HRBP Vice President at Unisys since 2022. In that position, he led the company’s Global HR Business Partner, Workforce Management and HR Shared Services organization, with responsibility spanning global and country HRBP teams, workforce planning and optimization, HR operations and employee experience. He previously served as Global HRBP & EMEA Vice President of Human Resources and EMEA Vice President of Human Resources at Unisys, supporting people strategy and transformation across multiple countries.
Reflecting on his new responsibility, Bundy emphasized the importance of people as Unisys advances its AI-first strategy. His focus will include ensuring that the company’s global workforce is equipped and supported to navigate technological change while continuing to deliver for clients. His experience at Unisys has included developing global people strategies, strengthening HR leadership structures across 50+ countries, workforce planning, talent development, labor and employee relations, and supporting people integration during M&A initiatives.
Before joining Unisys, Bundy served as Vice President of HR – UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa at DXC Technology, where he led people transformation following the merger of HP Enterprise Services and CSC and was accountable for HR integration and services covering more than 13,000 employees. Earlier, he held senior HR leadership positions with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and HP, including EMEA Human Resources Vice President, Global Reward Director, EMEA Compensation Director and EMEA HR Director. His career also includes more than seven years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) across HR business partnering and compensation and benefits leadership, following earlier HR experience with Sainsbury’s.
Alongside his executive career, Bundy serves as a Non-Executive Director at iPSL (Intelligent Processing Solutions Limited), contributing to governance, strategy, risk management, operational resilience and remuneration oversight. His career spans more than three decades in human resources, encompassing global HR strategy, organizational transformation, workforce management, rewards, employee relations, M&A integration and leadership development. Bundy holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations & Economics from the University of Reading.
