Vilnius, Lithuania, August 2026 — Saulius Bajarūnas has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of FL Technics, with the appointment taking effect on September 1, 2026. His elevation marks the next chapter in a nine-year journey with the global aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation, including more than seven years as Chief Operating Officer.
As CEO, Saulius will bring deep operational knowledge of FL Technics and extensive experience in global aviation services, business development, operational leadership, strategy, financial management and organisational growth. His long association with the company has included working with teams across its international network, expanding into new markets, strengthening operations and building long-term customer partnerships.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Saulius served as Chief Operating Officer at FL Technics for more than seven years. During this period, he worked across the company’s global organisation as it expanded its international footprint and strengthened its aircraft maintenance capabilities and customer relationships.
Saulius originally joined FL Technics as Business Development Manager, contributing to the company’s commercial and growth agenda before progressing into the Chief Operating Officer role.
Before joining FL Technics, he served as Chief Executive Officer of UAB Petrašiūnų katilinė, where his responsibilities included financial and technical coordination, working-capital management, budgeting, performance analysis, planning, audits and accountability, and relationships with public authorities, suppliers, shareholders and financiers.
During the same period, Saulius was also associated with AB „Kauno energija“ as Head of Strategy and Investment Projects, contributing to strategic planning and investment-related initiatives.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years with EY, progressing from Audit Consultant to Senior Audit Consultant. His work focused extensively on energy-sector businesses and included financial, regulatory and performance audits, risk assessment, internal-process analysis, risk-management solutions, efficiency improvement, financial reporting and project management.
Saulius began his earlier professional journey in Accounting at MGI In Salvo’ UAB, building a foundation in financial processes before moving into audit, strategy, energy-sector leadership and ultimately aviation.
With experience spanning aviation, energy, audit, finance, strategy and business leadership, Saulius brings a broad operational and commercial perspective to the CEO role as FL Technics continues strengthening its global MRO platform.
