India, August 2026 — Gaurav Goel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Healthium Medtech Limited, bringing extensive experience across global medical devices, commercial leadership, corporate strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, and financial management.
In his new role, Gaurav will lead Healthium Medtech as the company advances its mission of providing access to precision medical technology for patients globally. His experience in managing international businesses, commercial operations, product portfolios, strategic growth, and cross-border expansion will support Healthium’s continued development across surgical, post-surgical, and chronic-care markets.
Before joining Healthium Medtech, Gaurav spent more than 11 years with Sahajanand Medical Technologies, progressing through several senior global leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer, leading global sales, marketing, commercial profit-and-loss responsibility, commercial alliances, finished-goods supply-chain operations, and brand development across the company’s interventional cardiology and structural-heart portfolio.
Prior to becoming Chief Commercial Officer, Gaurav served as President – Structural Heart and Global Business Unit Head. He held business and profit-and-loss responsibility for the global structural-heart business, led budgeting and long-range planning, supported the establishment of a clinical ecosystem for the transcatheter aortic valve implantation business, and guided cross-functional teams involved in product and clinical-trial development.
Earlier at Sahajanand Medical Technologies, he worked as Senior Vice President – Corporate Strategy, with responsibilities spanning business development, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integration, five-year business planning, goal setting, and quarterly reviews of global subsidiaries against revenue and profitability targets.
Gaurav initially joined Sahajanand Medical Technologies as Vice President – Europe. During this assignment, he led the company’s European expansion by establishing direct entities and teams across markets including Germany, France, Spain, and Switzerland. He also supported the establishment of an R&D centre, production facility, and logistics centre in Galway, Ireland, while developing a cardiology team and commercial distributor network across Europe.
Before joining Sahajanand Medical Technologies, Gaurav spent more than three years with Accenture, serving as Manager – Strategy Consulting and earlier as Management Consultant – Strategy. His work included market-entry strategy, merger and acquisition target screening, post-acquisition integration, operating-model design, cost-reduction initiatives, market-sizing, go-to-market planning, shareholder-value analysis, and digital ecosystem strategy for clients across manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, and consumer sectors.
Earlier, he worked with First National Bank of Omaha as Senior Business Analyst and Investment and Corporate Banking Associate. His experience included foreign-exchange payment products, business-lending transformation, project budgeting, financial monitoring, business cases, mergers and acquisitions, private-equity transactions, valuation, due diligence, competitive research, and pricing strategy.
Gaurav also completed a Strategy and Finance Leadership Development Summer Associate assignment at Walmart, gaining exposure to strategic thinking, finance, and data interpretation. He began his professional career with Infosys Technologies as a Project Lead, where he worked across software development, client-side testing, and team leadership.
With experience spanning medical devices, management consulting, banking, retail, and information technology, Gaurav brings a combination of executive leadership, global commercial management, strategic planning, operational execution, and business transformation to Healthium Medtech.
