Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 2026 – Anant Maheshwari has taken on additional leadership responsibility as President of Strategy at Honeywell, while continuing to serve as President & CEO, Global Regions. This milestone coincides with 15 years of service at Honeywell, marking a full-circle moment in his career, having originally joined the company in 2004 in a strategy role.
In his expanded mandate as President of Strategy, Anant will drive Honeywell’s enterprise-wide strategy and offering management capabilities. In parallel, as President & CEO, Global Regions, he leads business growth across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, overseeing a diverse portfolio of markets and aligning global strategy with regional execution.
Prior to this expanded role, Anant served as President & CEO, Global Regions at Honeywell, and earlier as President & CEO, High Growth Regions, where he led business growth across China, India, Southeast Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He has also held multiple leadership roles at Honeywell, including President, Honeywell India, Managing Director, Honeywell Automation India Ltd, and Director of Strategy and Business Development, Honeywell India, steadily integrating strategy with execution across markets.
Between his tenures at Honeywell, Anant served as President – Microsoft India at Microsoft, where he led Microsoft’s overall business and engagement across India, partnering with policymakers, customers, and ecosystem stakeholders to advance the country’s digital transformation agenda. He also served as an Independent Board Member & Director at Hindalco Industries Limited (Aditya Birla Group). Earlier in his career, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising organizations on strategy and transformation.
Anant holds a PGDBM (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Master of Science in Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
