Oslo, Norway, September 2024 – Andre Fey has been appointed as the new Head of People & HSE at Norsk Hydro. In this role, Fey will oversee human resources and health, safety, and environment (HSE) strategies for the energy sector, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness and safety standards.
Andre Fey joins Norsk Hydro following his tenure as Head of HSE Energy at the company for approximately two and a half years. In this role, he managed health, safety, and environmental strategies specifically within the energy sector, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe working environment.
Before this, Fey served as Head of HSE Extrusion Europe at Norsk Hydro for about three and a half years, where he was responsible for HSE policies and procedures across extrusion operations in Europe.
Earlier in his career, Fey was the Head of HSE at Norsk Hydro for nearly eight years. His role included overseeing HSE initiatives and ensuring that safety standards were met across various divisions.
Andre began his journey at Norsk Hydro as Production Manager for around nine months and later held roles such as Director HSE and Senior Engineer at different locations, including Lausanne, Switzerland and Cologne, Germany, accumulating significant experience in safety engineering and management over nearly nine years.
