Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, March 2026 — REI Super has appointed Andrew Tait as Chief Operating & Growth Officer. In this expanded leadership role, he will oversee key enterprise functions including fund operations, finance, HR, IMO, IT, and regulator reporting, while also driving growth initiatives, business development, corporate development, and partnerships for the fund.
Andrew’s elevation reflects his long-standing contribution to REI Super, where he has played a central role in shaping growth, brand, and member engagement priorities. As part of the executive leadership team, he has been closely involved in delivering commercial partnerships, marketing and communications strategy, product and advice outcomes, and data-led decision making, alongside broader strategy and M&A-linked responsibilities.
Within REI Super, he previously served as Group Executive – Marketing & Growth, where he led brand, marketing, member and employer communications, digital, analytics, sponsorships, events, and commercial partnerships. In this role, he also led business development and advice teams, contributed to executive management priorities, and engaged regularly with the Trustee Board and governance committees aligned to member and business development.
Alongside his executive responsibilities, Andrew also serves as Majority Representative – Investor Review Committee, Australian Prime Property Fund Industrial, supporting investor review governance in Melbourne. He is also a member of ASFA | The Voice of Super Policy Advisory Forum, contributing to sector-wide policy discussions.
Beyond REI Super, his broader leadership contributions include long-standing involvement with Asthma Australia across consumer advisory and community reference group initiatives, supporting work focused on consumer perspectives, community engagement, and improved outcomes for people living with asthma. He also contributes as a mentor through UNSW Business School, supporting career mentoring programs, and serves as a mentor with REACH Australia, supporting proptech growth and industry development. His external contributions also include involvement with the Super Members Council through policy and advocacy working groups.
