Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — Sulzer has announced the appointment of Angie Safi as Global Head of HR – Services Division, marking a significant leadership addition to its global people leadership team. In her new role, Angie will partner closely with business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, build resilient people systems, and shape future-ready workforce strategies across Sulzer’s global services operations.
Angie transitions to Sulzer after an impactful and highly respected leadership journey at GE Vernova and GE, where she played a pivotal role in addressing complex organizational challenges, driving transformation initiatives, and strengthening global HR operations across multiple geographies.
Before joining Sulzer, Angie Safi served as Global TA Operations Leader at GE Vernova, where she led global talent acquisition operations and contributed to transformation initiatives with long-term organizational impact.
Earlier, she held the role of Global HR Business Partner – Services (GRID) at GE Digital, partnering closely with business leaders across services divisions in the Middle East and Africa.
She also served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner – MENAT SSA at GE, where she led strategic HR initiatives across emerging markets, followed by her role as Senior HR Manager at GE, supporting workforce transformation programs.
Prior to GE, Angie was HR Project Director at nbn™ Australia, leading organizational effectiveness and compensation initiatives. She also served as HR Leader – EMEA at FireEye, driving people strategies across the region.
Angie spent over eight years with Nokia as HR Business Partner in Australia, followed by her early career tenure as HR Manager at Clemenger BBDO, where she developed foundational HR leadership expertise.
