Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Anirudh Gupta has been appointed as Global Head – Talent and Learning at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, bringing over 20 years of expertise in learning & development, talent management, and organizational development. In this role, he will lead Glenmark’s global talent strategies, focusing on leadership development, capability building, and workforce learning frameworks to support the company’s growth and innovation.
Anirudh joins Glenmark from Pfizer, where he spent seven years in various leadership roles in learning and development. Most recently, he served as Pfizer Learning Academy India Lead, overseeing workforce capability enhancement and L&D strategies. Prior to this, he worked as an L&D Consultant at Pfizer India, designing and implementing high-impact learning solutions.
Before his tenure at Pfizer, Anirudh was Director at SKILLDOM Learning Solutions, where he led digital learning innovations and consulting for corporate clients. He also served as CEO of AAVID Consulting, focusing on HR development, competency frameworks, and change management. Earlier in his career, he was General Manager – HRD at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he headed the Glenmark Center for Learning and built the function from the ground up, developing talent management and L&D frameworks.
Anirudh began his career with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, MetLife India, and Wockhardt, gaining experience in training research, leadership development, and strategic HR initiatives. He holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management Studies (PGPMS) in HRD from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research.
