Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Ankit Desai has joined Panchshil Realty as the new Group Head – Human Resources. With a distinguished career in human resources spanning over two decades, Ankit brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.
His most recent role was with Brookfield Renewable, where he was Human Resources Manager for approximately 2 years. In this role, he headed the HR function, acting as an HR partner to stakeholders and operating as a strategic team member to execute growth strategy with regards to human resources.
Prior to Brookfield Renewable, Ankit spent nearly 5 years at Aker Solutions as Senior Business Partner – People & Organization. He was responsible for HR business partnering, organization development, change management, compensation strategy and execution, HR operations, and stakeholder management. Key achievements included developing an independent C&B function, spearheading the hiring of over 500 skilled engineers, and managing global mobility functions.
Before his tenure at Aker Solutions, Ankit was the DGM – Human Resources at Hardcastle Petrofer for approximately 1.5 years. He played a key role in implementing PMS, reorganizing the India Sales team, and initiating key learning and coaching programs.
Ankit’s earlier experiences include roles at dsm-firmenich, Kiara Jewellery Private Limited, and Larsen & Toubro, where he held various HR responsibilities, such as recruitment, HR operations, compensation, and employee life cycle management. He was instrumental in various HR initiatives and driving growth and change within the organizations.
