Anna Lloyd Appointed as Head of Executive Talent & Leadership at Woolworths Group

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, September 2024 – Anna Lloyd has recently joined Woolworths Group as the Head of Executive Talent & Leadership. In her new role, she will oversee the company’s executive leadership development, talent management, and succession planning. Anna’s extensive experience in executive coaching, leadership development, and culture transformation will be instrumental in shaping the leadership strategies at Woolworths.

Before joining Woolworths Group, Anna Lloyd was the Director of Leadership & Culture at Accenture for over a year, where she developed strategies around executive talent, leadership assessment, and succession planning. During her time at Accenture, she was known for her expertise in executive search, executive coaching, and CEO succession.

Prior to Accenture, Anna worked as a Director at YSC Consulting, also a part of Accenture. There, she focused on leadership consulting and development, aligning leadership capability with business strategy. Her contributions included integrating leadership and culture strategies across various industries.

Anna also co-founded Thrive Advisory in 2022, where she served as a Partner. The firm specialized in enhancing leadership capability, culture transformation, and promoting wellbeing across senior leadership teams. She collaborated with C-suite executives and board members to drive sustainable growth through leadership development.

Her earlier career includes significant roles at BHP, where she spent over five years in various positions, including Principal – Executive Capability and Principal – Executive Resourcing, contributing to leadership development and executive resourcing strategies for the company.
