Cambria, Wisconsin, United States, September 2025 — David Silver has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer at Didion, marking the latest milestone in his remarkable two-decade career with the company. In this role, he will oversee the organization’s financial strategy and governance, supporting the continued growth of Didion’s Milling and Bioscience business units.
David has been a cornerstone of Didion for more than 20 years, steadily advancing through progressively senior roles. Most recently, he served as Director of Accounting & Finance, where he played a key role in aligning financial operations with strategic business objectives. His leadership ensured strong financial controls, effective reporting, and sustained organizational growth.
Previously, he was Corporate Controller & USDA Program Coordinator, a role that saw him lead financial management and compliance while overseeing USDA-related programs. David’s stewardship contributed to Didion’s ability to deliver more than 350 million meals annually for USAID programs through the USDA, reinforcing the company’s global impact. Earlier, he held roles as Assistant Corporate Controller and Financial Analyst, building the foundation for his financial leadership.
In addition to his responsibilities at Didion, David also contributed to the broader industry as Chairman of the International Trade Committee at the North American Millers’ Association, where he worked on trade policies affecting milled grain products and supported the use of NAMA products for humanitarian aid programs.
