Des Moines, Iowa, United States, November 2025 — Anne Marie Johnson has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at ChildServe, marking an important milestone in her career as an accomplished HR professional with over 15 years of experience in employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development. In this new leadership role, Anne Marie will oversee HR operations, talent strategy, and workforce development initiatives supporting ChildServe’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare and developmental support to children and families.
Anne Marie has been with ChildServe for nearly four years, most recently serving as Staff Relations Manager, where she led staff relations programs, strategic HR initiatives, and compliance processes aligned with organizational goals. She played a key role in shaping the organization’s compensation philosophy, overseeing job evaluation and wage structuring, and ensuring adherence to federal labor standards. Her expertise in employee relations and risk management contributed significantly to fostering engagement, performance, and retention across ChildServe’s workforce.
Prior to joining ChildServe, Anne Marie worked as an HR Business Partner at Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where she managed the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and career development. She also served as the Affirmative Action Plan Administrator, ensuring organizational compliance with diversity and equity regulations.
Earlier in her career, Anne Marie held the position of Human Resources Manager at CIC Associates, PC, where she managed staffing, benefits, compliance, payroll, and performance evaluation processes. She successfully implemented a new payroll system and worked closely with insurance brokers to design competitive benefits plans.
Before transitioning to HR management, she worked at LCS as a Benefits Coordinator, overseeing employee benefits, open enrollment processes, and compliance with ACA regulations. Her career also includes valuable early experiences with Sedgwick as a Claims Examiner and Representative and Holmes Murphy & Associates as an Employee Benefits Account Manager, where she strengthened her foundation in employee welfare and benefits consulting.
Anne Marie is recognized for her ability to balance operational efficiency with people-first leadership, driving HR programs that promote organizational effectiveness and employee well-being.
