Austin, Texas, United States – November 2024 – Antonio Busalacchi has taken on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition at Realtor.com, where he will lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent aligned with the company’s vision of revolutionizing the home-buying experience. Antonio’s extensive background in talent acquisition across diverse industries makes him well-suited to drive growth and enhance employer branding at Realtor.com.
Most recently, Antonio was Head of Talent Acquisition at Open Lending, a public SaaS company specializing in AI automotive loan decisioning. During his time there, he oversaw all hiring and talent branding efforts, partnering closely with the Chief People Officer. He effectively managed recruitment for a range of roles across engineering, finance, product, and GTM teams, consistently meeting hiring targets and achieving a 90%+ offer acceptance rate. Antonio’s efforts also led to a notable improvement in Open Lending’s Glassdoor rating and the successful implementation of a new applicant tracking system to scale recruitment.
Prior to Open Lending, Antonio served as Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Babylon Health, a digital healthcare startup. Here, he led a global team and was instrumental in scaling the engineering and product recruitment process, increasing global hires by over threefold. His role involved managing key hires across the US, UK, and India, as well as collaborating with HR business partners to streamline recruitment workflows and enhance the candidate experience.
In his earlier tenure, Antonio spent four years as Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Silicon Labs, where he supported up to 700 hires annually across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. He led initiatives to increase diversity within the company and successfully established new recruiting hubs in EMEA and APAC, resulting in substantial hiring growth. His strategic leadership also fostered a highly effective university recruitment program, which helped Silicon Labs reach its hiring goals for interns and new graduates.
Antonio’s talent acquisition journey began with roles at Expedia Group (acquired Vrbo), where he served as Sr. Manager, Global Talent Acquisition, Engineering. Here, he managed a talent acquisition team supporting high-volume recruitment across tech, product, and GTM functions. His leadership was key to scaling the recruitment model, doubling software engineering hires in a short period to meet the company’s rapid growth demands.
