Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Anu Raj has been appointed as the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communication at Mahindra Finance, effective March 3, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in advertising, branding, digital marketing, and business development, Anu will lead Mahindra Finance’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement efforts.
Before joining Mahindra Finance, Anu Raj was the Chief Marketing Officer at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited, where she played a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, digital campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.

Prior to that, she spent over 13 years at IndusInd Bank, serving as Senior Vice President – Head Marketing (Assets, Corporate & CSR) & Head Corporate Communications. She led brand strategy, PR, digital campaigns, and CSR branding, and was instrumental in integrating marketing operations during the business transition from Deutsche Bank to IndusInd Bank.
Anu also held leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, where she served as Head of Marketing – Retail Banking, India, overseeing brand communications, sales strategies, and client acquisition programs. She was earlier Head of Marketing – Credit Cards, leading go-to-market strategies and customer engagement campaigns.
Her career began at Equus Advertising, where she served as Associate Vice President & Branch Head – Mumbai, handling brand custodianship, strategic planning, and new business development.
