Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Anuradha Mathu Agrawal has been appointed as the Head of Mid-Market Entertainment Ad Sales at JioStar, bringing extensive industry experience to this leadership position. With a proven track record in media sales and regional markets, she will play a pivotal role in strengthening JioStar’s presence in the entertainment ad sales sector. Her appointment follows the departure of Dhruv Dhawan, who previously managed digital growth for mid-tier and emerging clients.
Anuradha joins JioStar after a successful tenure at Disney Star, where she most recently served as Executive Director, overseeing ad sales for key regional markets, including Telugu and Kids portfolio. Over nearly a decade with the company, she played a crucial role in revenue generation and market-specific strategy development.

Prior to Disney Star, she was the National Revenue Head at CNN-News18, leading the channel’s advertising revenue strategy. She also co-founded Leomax International, where she was responsible for P&L management, sales strategy, and team building.
Her earlier career includes leadership roles at Turner Broadcasting System, NDTV, and Star India, where she was instrumental in expanding ad sales and building strong regional market presence. She began her career with Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times of India Group) and later worked at India Today, gaining early experience in the media and advertising industry.
