Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 – Anusheel S. has been appointed as Head of Total Rewards & Wellbeing at Microland Limited, where he will lead the global compensation, benefits, and employee wellbeing strategy for the organization. In this role, he will work closely with a team of compensation and benefits professionals to design competitive, equitable, and future-ready rewards frameworks that support Microland’s growth as an AI-first, platform-led technology services company.
Prior to joining Microland, Anusheel spent over eleven years at Amazon, holding multiple leadership roles across compensation, HR business partnering, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Most recently, he served as Regional Compensation Leader, owning the compensation strategy for Amazon India and international emerging markets, while also anchoring rewards programs for global financial services organizations across the APACMEA region. He partnered closely with HR and business leaders to drive high-impact pay decisions and led several regional and global compensation projects that delivered scalable solutions across markets.
Earlier at Amazon, he was Manager HRBP & Sales Capability, where he led HR for the acquired Prione entity and later supported diverse businesses including B2B, Recommerce, Renewed, Fresh, Healthcare, Private Brands, and Media. He built and coached teams of HRBPs and L&D specialists, strengthening organization design, leadership development, and change management capabilities. During this period, he also played a pivotal role in one of Amazon India’s largest M&A integrations, leading cross-functional HR workstreams to ensure smooth assimilation and employee experience continuity.
In the earlier phase of his career, Anusheel led the Total Rewards & Compliance COE at Prione, managing compensation, benefits, HR operations, and statutory compliance for the Amazon–Catamaran joint venture entities Prione and Cloudtail. He was instrumental in setting up foundational HR processes, payroll, audits, and HRMS platforms in a start-up environment. Prior to Amazon, he worked as Compensation & Benefits Specialist at Infosys, focusing on global compensation analytics, expatriate pay, and policy design across India, ANZ, USA, and Europe. His early professional journey began with Engineers India Limited, where he gained exposure to project coordination and procurement.
Anusheel holds a PGDHRM from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier institutions for human resources, and is recognized for his expertise in executive pay, compensation transformation, and HR strategy. At Microland, he is expected to further strengthen rewards competitiveness and wellbeing initiatives aligned with the organization’s people-first culture.
