At Intas, Rohit will play a pivotal role in strengthening the HR ecosystem, fostering a culture of collaboration, and driving people-centric growth. His leadership is expected to further reinforce Intas’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and human capital development across its global operations.

Before joining Intas Pharmaceuticals, Rohit Gupta was associated with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for nearly nine years, where he served as General Manager & Site Head (Human Resources) at its largest formulation manufacturing facility in Goa, servicing the US and European markets. In this capacity, he led HR and administrative functions, driving organizational capability, employee relations, and strategic people initiatives to align with business goals.

Earlier, he served as Manager – Employee Relations at Mahindra & Mahindra (Swaraj Division, Mohali), where he was instrumental in maintaining harmonious industrial relations and fostering progressive engagement with employees and trade unions. His tenure at Mahindra was marked by effective stakeholder collaboration and the implementation of best-in-class employee relations practices.

Rohit also worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for over three years, managing HR operations for its formulation units in Baddi and Hyderabad, catering to both domestic and ROW markets. He led multiple people initiatives in HR operations, workforce planning, and employee communication, contributing to performance-driven culture and organizational growth.

He began his career with ACC Limited, one of India’s leading cement companies, where he was selected as a Management Trainee and gained hands-on exposure to the entire HR lifecycle at the Bargarh Cement Works. He later joined VE Commercial Vehicles (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Joint Venture) as Deputy Manager – HR, handling end-to-end HR processes for the Sales, Service, and Marketing functions, thereby broadening his sectoral expertise.

Rohit Gupta holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi (2004–2006), one of India’s premier institutions for human resource education. His academic foundation in HRM complements his professional experience in people strategy and organizational development.
