Aparna R. Elevated to Chief Legal Officer at L&T Finance

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — L&T Finance has announced the elevation of Aparna R. to the position of Chief Legal Officer, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished legal career with the organization. Over nearly a decade at L&T Finance, Aparna has played an instrumental role in shaping legal strategy, governance, and compliance across multiple business functions, contributing to the company’s strong ethical and operational foundation.

In her previous role as Head of Legal – L&T Financial Services (Special Situations Group & Private Equity), Aparna was responsible for critical legal frameworks that supported wholesale business operations, digital transformation initiatives, treasury functions, and SEBI-registered AIF (Category II) structures. She also managed corporate litigation and stressed asset resolutions while ensuring robust legal governance across the enterprise.

Her leadership as Head Legal – Wholesale, Digitisation, PE, Treasury & Group Functions further solidified her reputation as a trusted legal strategist. She oversaw legal advisory for corporate functions including HR, sustainability, IT, and technology initiatives, and led knowledge-sharing initiatives for stakeholders. Aparna has been pivotal in embedding a culture of compliance, integrity, and risk management excellence across the organization.

Before joining L&T Finance, Aparna held leadership roles at Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited, where she served as Associate Vice President, Chief Manager, and Senior Manager, Legal, driving corporate legal processes, litigation management, and compliance frameworks. She also worked with Dhir & Dhir Advocates & Solicitors, gaining extensive experience in corporate law and legal advisory.

Her elevation reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence in legal management, deep expertise in corporate law, financial regulations, and digital partnerships, as well as her ability to lead teams through complex legal and business challenges.
