Gurugram, Haryana, India, November 2025 — Apoorva Shukla has begun a new role as Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Flipkart, where she will contribute to strengthening organisational capability, driving people strategy, and supporting business growth within one of India’s largest and most influential digital-commerce companies. In this role, she will partner closely with business leaders to enhance employee experience, build talent effectiveness, and support Flipkart’s culture of innovation and inclusion.
Apoorva joins Flipkart after serving at bigbasket for over three years, where she held responsibilities across talent acquisition and hiring strategy. She most recently served as Head of Talent Acquisition, where she led talent strategies to support rapid growth, and before that worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, contributing to end-to-end hiring and capability building for various business units. Her experience at bigbasket demonstrates her strong command of recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and driving hiring excellence in high-growth environments.
Before bigbasket, Apoorva worked with Excitel Broadband as Human Resources Manager, where she managed HR operations, recruitment, and people processes. During her nearly one-year tenure, she strengthened technical recruitment pipelines and contributed to employee engagement efforts. Her role showcased her ability to support fast-scaling organisations while overseeing critical HR operational functions.
Apoorva previously spent more than two years with Ecom Express, serving as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, where she focused on campus hiring, employee engagement, and talent management in a large-scale logistics workforce. Her earlier experience also includes working with Future Group India as Senior Executive – HR, where she supported hiring operations and campus programs, and beginning her career as Human Resources Trainee at Bharti Retail (Easyday), where she gained foundational experience in HR processes, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management.
Across her multi-industry HR journey spanning retail, logistics, broadband services, and e-commerce, Apoorva has built deep expertise in recruitment, HR partnering, and talent programs. Her experience across diverse organisations equips her with a strong understanding of functional operations and people dynamics, aligning well with Flipkart’s vision of empowering talent and driving organisational excellence.
