Prior to joining Quadria Capital, Vikas served as Director, Investments at Piramal Alternatives, where he led private equity investments across sectors, overseeing the complete investment lifecycle from deal sourcing to exit. He evaluated over 150 investment opportunities within a year and played a key role in fundraising initiatives, leading 40+ investor pitches and strengthening relationships with institutional investors.

Earlier, Vikas was the Vice President and Head of Cipla Ventures and Global M&A at Cipla, where he spearheaded a $100 million venture capital fund focused on healthtech and consumer tech investments, while also managing access to a $1 billion balance sheet for global pharma acquisitions. He sourced and evaluated over 175 VC and M&A opportunities across India, the US, and Europe, closing multiple strategic deals in the healthcare and OTC space.

Before Cipla, Vikas spent over eight years at Investcorp (formerly IDFC Private Equity), where he led end-to-end investments in the healthcare, e-commerce, and consumer sectors, managing marquee portfolios such as ASG Eye Hospital, Safari Industries, and Bewakoof Brands. He also played an integral role in several successful exits, including IPOs and strategic sales.

Earlier in his career, Vikas held key investment roles at PineBridge Investments, Merrill Lynch, and finance leadership roles at Coca-Cola India and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., where he gained early exposure to financial planning, M&A analysis, and operational excellence.

Vikas holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), where he graduated Rank 5 in his cohort, and attended an MBA Exchange Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he engaged with leading Silicon Valley innovators at Google, Facebook, IDEO, and Silver Lake Partners.

At Quadria Capital, Vikas will leverage his deep sectoral experience and extensive network to drive investments in healthcare delivery, life sciences, medical technology, and allied services across Asia. His appointment further reinforces Quadria’s commitment to building a transformative healthcare investment platform focused on sustainable value creation.
