Delhi, India, November 2025 — Kumar Vikrant has joined Encardio Rite as Vice President – Global Business Development, marking a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to scale its international footprint across the US, LATAM, and other key global markets. With over 11 years of experience across Energy, IT, and FMCG, Vikrant brings deep expertise in business growth, strategic partnerships, and international expansion.
Before joining Encardio Rite, Kumar Vikrant served as Assistant Vice President – Strategy & Business Management at Sterlite Electric, contributing to major international expansion initiatives. He built the business plan for a new US manufacturing plant, generated over $10M in new revenue through export expansion, and led EU market entry across three countries. His work in PMO and governance for large-scale CAPEX further demonstrated his strategic and execution capabilities.
Prior to this role, he served as Assistant Vice President – Strategy & International Business at Hero Cycles Ltd, working directly with the Chairman on international strategy across the US, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. He created $50M+ new market opportunities, accelerated time-to-market for the premium Electric 2-Wheeler segment, and built a global sales pipeline exceeding $20M. His representation of the organization in Germany and Taiwan strengthened global partnerships across 30+ OEMs.
Earlier in his journey, Vikrant held multiple roles at Sterlite Power, including Assistant Vice President – Subsea Cables and Next Generation Products, Chief Manager, and Deputy Manager Business Development. During his tenure, he designed Sterlite’s $300M global expansion plan, secured $40M+ in incentives, reduced project costs through data-driven decision-making, and managed infrastructure investment assessments worth over $700M. He was instrumental in building a $4B sustainable transmission market and collaborated extensively with policymakers and global energy leaders.
His career began in FMCG and IT, with early roles as a Summer Intern at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, where he contributed to major marketing insights and advertising strategies, and later as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where he worked on high-value software development projects for clients such as Shoppers Drug Mart and Elisa. His early exposure to technology, analytics, and marketing provided a strong foundation for his future leadership roles.
