Houston, Texas, United States, April 2025 – April Ramirez Fabre has been appointed as Vice President, Talent Management at CenterPoint Energy, a significant leadership move that reflects her dynamic career progression within the organization. In this new role, April will be responsible for leading talent strategy initiatives across the company, aligning leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness with CenterPoint Energy’s long-term goals.
April has been with CenterPoint Energy for over 16 years, most recently serving as District Director – Gas Operations, where she led key operational and regulatory functions and oversaw underground gas distribution systems in Houston. Her leadership was instrumental in ensuring safety, compliance, and performance excellence.

Before that, April served as Area Manager – Gas Operations for nearly seven years, where she managed district-level functions and drove key initiatives to improve customer service, safety, and employee performance. Earlier in her career, she held HR-focused roles including Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter – Gas Operations, where she was deeply involved in workforce planning and talent acquisition, laying the foundation for her current role.
