Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 — Arpita Gupta has been appointed as General Manager – Head of Brand Buying & Merchandising at Fossil India, where she will lead the iconic portfolios of Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, and Tory Burch. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping elevated assortments, strategic buying, market-aligned merchandising, and premium brand storytelling, while driving performance through data-led decision-making and global brand alignment.
Arpita brings over 13 years of deep expertise across retail buying, merchandising, product management, and brand leadership within India’s leading fashion and lifestyle organizations.
In her current role, Arpita Gupta leads brand buying and merchandising for Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, and Tory Burch at Fossil India, overseeing end-to-end assortment planning, seasonal buying, and premium consumer experience strategies aligned with global brand objectives.
Immediately prior, she spent over six years at Page Industries Ltd (Jockey India), where she served as AGM – Product Management & Marketing (Men’s Division) and earlier as Category Head and Category Manager for Jockey Juniors, Thermals, Socks and Accessories, driving product development, range planning, EBITDA management, channel expansion, and brand penetration across India.
Before that, Arpita held the position of Category Manager – Women’s Wear at Reliance Retail, managing end-to-end category growth, pricing, merchandising strategy, and margin delivery.
Her earlier experience includes key buying and merchandising leadership roles at abof.com (Future Group), Future Lifestyle & Fashion (Scullers Women & Kids), Marks & Spencer India, TSS – Textile Sourcing and Services, and Modelama, Delhi, where she built strong foundations in retail analytics, trend forecasting, and premium apparel merchandising.
