Mysuru, Karnataka, India, April 2025 – Arun (AK) Krishnan has stepped into the role of Chairman and Managing Director at Mysore Polymers and Rubber Products Pvt. Ltd (MYPOL). With a distinguished background in advanced analytics, innovation, and leadership, Arun will now helm the legacy enterprise, guiding its strategic vision in high-performance rubber technologies and global expansion.
Before joining MYPOL, Arun Krishnan served as Senior Vice President – Analytics & AI at iLink Digital in Bengaluru, where he led digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives for global clients over a span of two years. He previously held the role of Business Unit Head at Mu Sigma, driving strategic growth and delivery in the data analytics space.
For nearly eight years, Arun was the Founder and CEO of nFactorial Analytical Sciences, a workforce analytics startup. His entrepreneurial leadership at nFactorial positioned him as a thought leader in the domain of HR and organizational analytics. Concurrently, he was a Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, where he contributed to academic development in strategic HR and analytics.
His tenure at Monsanto spanned several impactful roles, including India Commercial IT Lead and Lead – Data Mining and Computational Biology, where he initiated and implemented high-value technology and analytics innovations. His work directly contributed to advancements in biotech pipelines, strategic forecasting, and global pilot programs for emerging markets.
Earlier in his career, Arun held prestigious roles in academia and industry alike, including Assistant Professor at Keio University, Japan, and Research Scientist & Team Leader at Bioinformatics Institute, Singapore. He has authored numerous scientific papers and is also a published author of the historical fiction series Battle of Vathapi.
