Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Aruna W. has taken on a new leadership role as HR Head – GBS India at the Barry Callebaut Group, a global leader in chocolate and cocoa solutions. In this role, she also serves as GBS HR Business Partner for India and Malaysia, reinforcing the Group’s people strategy across the region’s global business services operations.
With over two decades of rich HR leadership experience in premier financial and technology organizations, Aruna’s appointment marks a significant step in Barry Callebaut’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global talent ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.
Before joining Barry Callebaut, Aruna W. was Human Resources Director at Wells Fargo, where she led HR for Technology across India and the Philippines. During her tenure of over three years, she played a critical role in shaping strategic people programs and delivering HR solutions aligned with the bank’s global transformation initiatives.
Previously, she spent over 12 years at Goldman Sachs, where she held multiple progressive roles, including Vice President and Business Partner, Human Resources. She was deeply involved in business partnering for the technology division and supported numerous organizational scale-ups and leadership initiatives across functions during her long tenure.
Earlier in her career, she served as HR Client Relationship Manager at UBS, supporting the IT and IT Infrastructure verticals at the UBS India Service Center. Her three-year stint contributed to robust HR systems and employee engagement frameworks.
Aruna began her corporate journey with IBM India Pvt Ltd as an HR Advisor, followed by an internship at Wipro Technologies, laying a strong foundation for her passion in HR strategy, employee advocacy, and cross-border collaboration.
