Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Arvind Sharma has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Navi General Insurance Limited, a subsidiary of Navi. In this role, he will oversee the company’s financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and governance while driving growth across Navi’s insurance business.
Arvind has been with Navi for nearly five years, building expertise across financial management, taxation, and investment functions. Most recently, he served as CFO of Navi AMC Limited, where he focused on financial regulation, strategic management, and balance sheet optimization, while leading initiatives in digital transformation and cost efficiency. Earlier at Navi, he was Manager and Associate Manager – Finance & Investments, contributing to investment planning, internal controls, and financial analysis, further strengthening his understanding of both insurance and mutual fund businesses.
Before joining Navi, Arvind worked with HDFC ERGO General Insurance, where he was Manager – Taxation during the critical acquisition of HDFC ERGO Health Insurance (formerly Apollo Munich). He led due diligence, regulatory integration, and system transitions, ensuring compliance continuity throughout the merger. His leadership in tax litigations and ERP transitions played a pivotal role in supporting the post-merger transformation.
Earlier in his career, Arvind served as Deputy Manager – Indirect Taxation at R N Marwah & Co. LLP, where he advised a leading telecom client on tax optimization, compliance, and audit readiness. He also worked at Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company Ltd., where he rose through taxation and accounting roles, spearheading GST implementation and automating compliance processes. He began his career with Sandeep R K Gupta & Co. Chartered Accountants, gaining hands-on experience in taxation and accounting over six years.
