Ankara, Türkiye, June 2024 – Arzu Aydıner has joined Hitachi Rail as the new Head of Human Resources. Aydıner is excited to leverage her extensive HR experience to drive strategic human resource initiatives and contribute to the company’s mission of sustainable mobility transition.
Aydıner’s most recent role was at Thales España, where she served as the Head of HR at Thales España GRP, S.A.U. Branch – Turkey for nearly three years. During her tenure, she effectively managed HR functions, enhancing the organization’s HR practices and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Her leadership and expertise were instrumental in driving the HR agenda in Türkiye.
Prior to Thales España, Aydıner worked at Turkcell for over nine years as an HR Business Partner. In this role, she partnered with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that supported business objectives. Her efforts in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development significantly contributed to the company’s success in Ankara.
Aydıner also served as a Recruitment & Account Specialist at Innova for just over a year. Here, she specialized in recruitment and account management, focusing on attracting top talent and maintaining strong client relationships.
Earlier in her career, Aydıner worked at MIKES Microwave Electronic Systems, Inc. as a Human Resources Specialist for nearly five years. She gained valuable experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee relations. She started her professional journey at Siemens, where she held roles as a Human Resources Specialist and an Intern, providing her with a solid foundation in HR practices and processes.
