Before joining KINNECT, Ashley Brett served as the HR Director – Asia at Weatherford, where he led strategic HR initiatives across multiple geographies, focusing on talent acquisition, leadership development, and cultural transformation. His tenure at Weatherford also included roles as HR Director, Talent & Capability and Organizational Development Manager, where he successfully implemented succession planning, training programs, and workforce optimization strategies.

Prior to his tenure at Weatherford, Ashley was the General Manager, Human Resources at Downer Mining, where he was instrumental in developing inclusion programs, succession planning, and operational workforce training frameworks. His leadership significantly improved talent retention and diversity representation in the company’s Australian operations.
Ashley also held key HR leadership roles at WorkCover Queensland, where he managed clinical services, case management, and workers’ compensation programs. His deep expertise in compliance, risk management, and people strategy makes him a strong asset to KINNECT’s future workforce transformation.
